After watching the interview, he passed our info along to K, and not long after, we were soon after chatting all about their wedding dreams. They officially booked us a full year in advance—and that’s something we always encourage! Not only does early booking give couples peace of mind, it allows us to be really intentional with communication and build the relationship as we plan.

With its exposed brick, tons of natural light pouring in from windows, and clean industrial aesthetic, it’s a blank canvas that lets each couple create something entirely their own. It’s effortlessly cool, and it attracts couples who want to blend modern elegance with laid-back style.

While we’ve worked several weddings inside the venue, K + D’s day marked a first for us: we worked outside! And you know what? It still flowed beautifully.

The bar setup was just steps from the reception space, allowing us to stay connected to the energy of the celebration while also offering a bit of separation for guests to gather, sip, and connect. The layout worked so well, and we’re already hoping to do more outdoor setups at The Dye House in the future.

Three Months Out: Let the Fun Begin!

Once we hit the 90-day countdown to the wedding, that’s when things get really fun—especially when our couples have booked our Signature Cocktail Package. Why? Because it includes one of our favorite planning moments: the signature cocktail tasting.

This is where we get to be face-to-face, try your cocktails together, talk through presentation details, and fine-tune everything for your big day. For K + D’s tasting, I got to meet them in person for the very first time, along with K’s mom and dad, which was so special.

We tried out different recipe options, talked garnishes, discussed color palettes, and worked out the perfect presentation. Every detail matters when it comes to signature drinks—and let’s be honest, when a cocktail looks as good as it tastes, the guests can’t stop raving about it.

Also, side note: the dahlias they picked for garnish? I’m still obsessed. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be over them.

Stress-Free Alcohol Buying with Our Custom Guide

Once signature cocktails are finalized, we move into the logistical part of bar planning—which can be intimidating for some, but not with us in your corner. We created a custom alcohol buying guide for K + D so they knew exactly how much to get based on their guest count and beverage menu.

And let me tell you—every time I send that email and get a warm, enthusiastic reply back from the couple, it makes my heart so happy. K + D were no exception. Their excitement was contagious, and it made me even more excited to bring their wedding bar to life.

From the moment we arrived on site, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully curated. K + D went with a timeless black and white aesthetic, paired with cascading baby’s breath and white roses that brought this soft, romantic energy to the space. The contrast was stunning, and it played so well against the raw textures of The Dye House.

And can we take a moment to appreciate that welcome sign?! Talk about making a statement right from the start.

The cocktail station was humming, the hydration station was stocked and ready, and our bartenders were all set to keep the line moving with friendly, professional service. As always, we focused on efficient execution without sacrificing the personal touches—and with a guest list of 80, everything flowed effortlessly.

Oh, and did we mention there was a quick rain shower followed by a rainbow? Because that happened. Talk about the universe showing up to bless the moment.
