An Amalfi Coast Summer Social: Bringing the Mediterranean to Boston

When a longtime client asked us to help design the mobile bar experience for her summer social, the brief was simple but specific: transport her guests to the Amalfi Coast for an afternoon. No literal ocean required, just that feeling of golden light, citrus, and easy elegance that makes you want to linger a little longer at the table.

As a mobile bar and beverage catering company serving Boston and the surrounding areas, this is exactly the kind of project we love. Designing a themed cocktail experience for a luxury event is not just about pouring drinks. It's about building a bar program that matches the tone of the day, down to the smallest detail, from the cart's styling to the way each cocktail is served.

Setting the Scene with a Custom Themed Tap Cart

For this event, we brought in Yoshi, our 3.5 foot mobile tap cart, and reimagined it as the centerpiece of an Amalfi Coast themed bar setup. We dressed it in a palette of lemon yellow, azure blue, and sun-bleached whites, with citrus and greenery worked into the display. Yoshi's compact footprint made it easy to place in the perfect corner of the venue, creating a striking focal point without overwhelming the space. Guests kept commenting that it looked like it belonged on a terrace somewhere outside Positano.
